Lincolnshire Co-Operative Development Agency website design
The Lincolnshire Co-Operative Development Agency (LCDA) has an experienced team of advisors who provide specialist support to potential, emerging and established Social Enterprise businesses across Lincolnshire and Rutland. They decided that because of the size of Lincolnshire (it is England's second largest County) they needed a website to be able to reach more clients. They opted for a content managed site where they could add their own content to keep the site updated. The site also has a private area where their clients can log-on to get business advice, including the latest funding information on business grants available.
Julie Stubbs from LCDA takes up the story.
"When we first approached Tim Ryan at Volute about a website for our organisation, we didnÙt have any prior knowledge or experience in this field. Volute was an inspiration and after a few consultation meetings, they designed our website exactly the way we had envisaged it. Volute listened to what we wanted, how we wanted to manage the site and who the target audience was.
The content management system we have is so easy to use and clear to understand. We have the freedom to insert new articles, update old ones and manage our users without having to have specialised IT skills or knowledge in web maintenance. One of the other great things about the management system we have, is being able to see how many hits we have on each page, this enables us to see which pages of are value to our members.
The after ‘salesÙ service we have received from Volute has been exceptional. They are always willing to offer advice, guidance and help on any query we may have.
Many of our members who access our website on a regular basis have all commented on how easy the site is to navigate and that itÙs really user friendly."
